Theme

This year’s theme is “YOUR social media toolkit.” Social media has become a permanent part of the information landscape, and its presence has transformed the way we view not only the newer social media but also how we monitor, exchange, and analyze more traditional media. FPinfomart offers a complete set of tools that allow you to optimize your participation in this new social information environment.

Customer Panel

Each year we strive not only to create an interesting theme for our event, but also to provide opportunities for interactivity. This year’s breakfast event will conclude with a panel of FPinfomart users who will participate in a live, guided discussion about their use of information and how FPinfomart fits into this space in their daily work. We’ve had similar customer presentations in the past which have been received very positively by our audiences. We invite you to consider applying to join our customer panel at your city’s breakfast event!

We will provide the questions to the selected panelists well in advance of the event in order to provide you with time to think about what you might like to say; however we hope that the discussion will take on an organic nature as the panelists interact with each other.

If you are chosen to participate, you would be expected to attend the breakfast event in your city (please see dates, above), arriving no later than 7:45 a.m., and wrapping up by 11:00 a.m., and participate in a moderated three-member discussion panel in front of an audience between 50-100 people.

If you are interested in being a panelist at your city’s event, please e-mail Jennifer Stein (jstein@fpinfomart.ca) expressing your interest by March 31, 2011. Selected panelists will be notified during early April.

Registration Information

Although there is NO cost for this event, you must register if you plan to attend.  This year we’re offering a self-registration system – visit our event registration page and select the city you wish to attend.

About our Speaker

Jennifer Stein has worked with FPinfomart.ca and its predecessor products for over ten years. She joined the company in 2000 as an Information Consultant, and became Manager of Training & Professional Services when that department was created after the launch of the infomart.ca product. In February 2005, Jennifer was promoted to Product Manager B2B, and is now responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Postmedia Digital’s business-to-business products and services.  Jennifer is also responsible for FPinfomart’s social media activities, including Twitter, blogging, YouTube, LinkedIn, and monitoring of all social media streams for content relevant and critical to our business.

During her time with Postmedia, Jennifer has been involved with our continually-evolving business products; supported and trained others on these products; and through her work has developed excellent relationships with our clients. This combination of product knowledge and understanding of our clients’ needs makes her current position a natural step in Jennifer’s career at Postmedia.
